The Story Begins...

About Us

Pure Spices Wagga is more than just a departmental store; it’s a story of resilience, growth, and the pursuit of passion.

With no formal business background, I began my journey by helping two friends take over a local departmental store. For a while, things ran smoothly, but misunderstandings crept in, and the partnership fell apart. I found myself playing the role of a mediator, striving to bring peace between the two. However, amidst this whirlwind, I unexpectedly stepped into the business to assist the new owner.

But as time passed, my vision for the store began to diverge from the traditional ways of running a business. While my ideas were different, my partner wasn’t on the same page, and eventually, we parted ways. It was a turning point in my life—the weight of the store now rested solely on my shoulders.
The Turning Point
Just when things seemed the most uncertain, the world changed with the COVID pandemic. However, what could have been a challenging time turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I poured every ounce of effort into revitalizing and growing the store, driven by the belief that hard work always pays off.

And it did. Today, not only has the original store flourished, but I’ve been fortunate enough to open two more stores in the Wagga Wagga area. Pure Spices Wagga is the embodiment of dedication, modern ideas, and a relentless pursuit of better serving our community. We take pride in offering quality products, from groceries to household essentials, all under one roof.
